We cultivate 20 ha
We cultivate 20 ha in Rudna Mała on the fertile soils of the Rzeszów poviat. We grow nettle in harmony with nature, in an ecological place, away from pollution and roads, thanks to which it is not exposed to exhaust gases emitted by cars. We try to minimize our interference in the natural vegetation of nettle, which is why we mainly limit ourselves to mowing and harvesting. We do not use fertilizers or spraying. Our nettle is 100% organic.
The most valuable is nettle before flowering. Flowering lasts from June to October, which is why we have the possibility of harvesting only in April and May. During this period, the nettle, and more precisely its leaves, have the most nutritional values - vitamins, mineral salts as well as micro- and macroelements. We acquire young, fully developed leaves. The method and conditions for obtaining nettle let us preserve its unique qualities, such as an aromatic smell and a fresh look.
The harvesting of nettle completes its drying. We carry out the drying in natural conditions - in a warm, airy and sun-protected place. The drying process carried out by us this way gives a quarantee of a beautiful green color of dried herbs. Our final offered product are young dried nettle leaves, separated from the stems.
THE NETTLE IS A PLANT FREQUENTLY UNDERRATED AND TREATED AS A WEED, WHEREAS THAT IS A VERY VALUE PRODUCT.
Nettle is a very valuable medicinal and cosmetic plant. It is a component of many teas, blends and herbal preparations as well as natural cosmetics. Nettle is also a very valuable ingredient used for animal feed.
